Weighty encounter in Máncora

Finally a little vacation. Although we are doing very nice things all the time, the constant change of location, lack of comfort, and very long bus rides are tiring. We stayed in Máncora for only 4 nights, but absolutely relaxed and with little agenda. However, there was one thing we couldn't miss, and that was whale watching. We set sail near Los Órganos, this time a little more comfortable than before. It is the time of the humpback whales and luckily we also saw one. First, we saw the fountain from a distance, then the back a little closer, and the absolute highlight were the jumps of the whale. It is very impressive when a 40-ton, 17m long colossus shoots out of the water. We ended the day with an excellent dinner with finely prepared tuna, delicious! La Sirena de Juan is considered one of the best restaurants nationally and that at (for us) completely acceptable prices. In Germany, we would have paid four times as much for such a meal. If you are looking for a beach, relaxation, but still party and good food, come to this city.
