Jetlag and Animal Stories

Romantic break = still a no-show.

The clock showed 1:39 AM when 2 of the 4 children were awake. An hour later, everyone was up. Jetlag has us fully in its grip. Consequently, everyone was tired and grumpy today. Bickering here, yelling there - a test of nerves for all.

However, we were already at the playground by half past 7. There, we encountered a particularly cheeky raven that kept circling around our backpack. And promptly, seconds later, it flew off with our Darvida package.

We had our lunch in the small front yard of our apartment. Suddenly, Maluna screamed. A large wood ant had bitten into her index finger and didn’t want to come out easily. Luckily, it wasn’t a rattlesnake 😅
