Happy Fourth

Happy Fourth… that’s what everyone says here. It's like happy August 1st for us… the day starts for some at 5 a.m. to relieve those at the gate who have been sleeping there, so we all have a good spot on the beach during the day. And of course in the evening for the fireworks. In the morning, there will be pancakes, eggs, and bacon. Then off to the crowded beach. Wow, crowded!! Everyone in America outfits, everyone happy. After dinner, we also get to 'dress up'. Then back to the beach for the fireworks. Wow, long, loud, and closer than ever!! And the finale, magnificent. For me and Lavinia. Rahel and Nayara don’t find fireworks particularly enjoyable, and Maluna and Catalina even fell asleep 😂… 🦍A

PS: although everyone is really celebrating here, many say that due to the current situation, they almost didn’t hang up the flag…
