In the meantime, we've found ourselves in the real 'desert' (the Canadian one is a triviality in comparison 😉) and, much to Dad's dismay, we need acclimatization time again. New houses, new climate zone, new area - us girls always have to find our bearings in the new. So, not much happened today.
Alessandro packed the little two in the morning and went for coffee and pastries, and then later shopping. He enjoyed the way to Walmart so much that he went back after dropping off two full bags at home and later retrieved the third (forgotten) bag 🤪. He realized it when that butter was simply nowhere to be found 😂.
In the afternoon, we played at home and the motivation for another 35 degrees outside was low. Late in the afternoon, we finally went out - for a 'rolled ice cream'. It's a trend back here. A cool little chocolateria, delicious ice creams.
In Switzerland, pedestrians receive a stop for wanting to cross the street, in India, it's elephants, and here in Reno, you often wait 3 minutes until the whole Loon gang strolls across the street 😆.
In the end, there was a grill, and it was so tasty that there was almost a fight over the last kernel of corn. 🦩R
