Mongkok Markets+ Horse Racing

Since I also have Wednesdays off, we went to Mongkok to visit the many different markets. The area is known for its colorful street stalls and shops that are somehow arranged by type in a street or district. So we visited the flower corner, the bird market, the goldfish street, various flea markets, and also discovered some streets with lamp shops and tools in the end. It was quite fun, especially the flowers were really beautiful, but the animals are not doing well at all; crowded bird cages and fish in bags :(

In the evening, we went to Happy Valley for the horse racing. It was interesting to experience, but it didn't blow me away either. The horses ran past after two seconds and yeah, that was it :D I somehow imagined it to be more spectacular. ;)
