Today it was time for sightseeing. With a bus and a guide, we went on a big city tour. First stop was the Shanghai Tower, the second highest building in the world at 632 meters. It holds the world record for the fastest elevator ride to the top in 18 seconds. Unfortunately, the weather at this time of year is rather hazy, so the view was just average. There are a few historical buildings and neighborhoods left, but most of them had to make way for skyscrapers. In the evening, we admired what we saw during the day with the lights on. The illumination was impressive.
