Day 7 - From Beusichem to Nieuwegein (Utrecht)

Today was a relatively short stage, but quite exhausting. It started raining just before Culemborg, and when I arrived in the city, a thunderstorm began. So I had to take a forced break here under a rain shelter, where I met two Dutch hikers and chatted briefly with them. From here on, I walked in the rain for most of the way, next to a road. I took a break under a highway bridge. Fortunately, the rain stopped from here, and in Vianen, I treated myself to a hot tea. The last six kilometers were partly along a road, but also through beautiful parks and small forests. Today's distance: 23.6 km
