After our hike, we continued our journey. Unfortunately, we had to skip the Fox Glacier as all hiking trails were closed due to a storm. So we immediately drove to the Franz Josef Glacier. The next day was again spoiled by the rain. We only did a short hike to a cave and were able to observe glowworms there.
The following day, the weather improved and we did two separate hikes to view the glacier from two different perspectives.
The first hike took us to a high mountain to have a view of the glacier from above.
