Eysturoy

Today we drove back to Saksun and went on the hike through the gorge to the beach - very impressive and certainly one of the most beautiful landscapes in the Faroe Islands. Afterwards, we explored the north with some lovely fjords. The subsequent search for a campsite turned into an odyssey. We don't want to elaborate too much on this, but we feel that campers, with a few exceptions, are not particularly welcome in the Faroe Islands. In the end, we found one that is among the exceptions.
