The day before yesterday morning, we boarded the ferry in Seydisfjördur in beautiful weather. It almost seemed as if Iceland was trying to lure us back with its lovely weather – our thoughts on this will be elaborated in the conclusion, as the answer is not that simple.
After about 14 hours of somewhat restless travel, we arrived in Torshavn yesterday at 3:00 AM.
Today we explored the first part of the Faroe Islands and visited three very beautiful fjords.
Unlike Iceland, the Faroe Islands are much greener, and we haven't seen a single tree so far. The weather isn't really better, but it's a few degrees milder.
