Day 9 Black Hills, Wind Cave Park and Return to Fort Collins

Our last day of the first short loop begins. We drive once more into the Black Hills to Wind Cave NP. There, we were able to beautifully observe the bison. They are truly magnificent animals. Then we started the 500 km long drive back to Fort Collins. Our stopover was in Cheyenne, the capital of the state of Wyoming. A dreary empty and unimaginative capital. Thus, our stay was limited to our lunch. We quickly returned to Fort Collins, where we did some shopping for tomorrow's onward journey. Then we celebrated with a delicious meal at Anke and David’s to say goodbye.
