Today we had to leave our "Villa Rosa Kempinski" again.

We drove to Nairobi's regional airport to take our flight to the Masai Mara.

The flight in a "Dash 7" to the Mara Serena Air Strip was uneventful. At our destination, four off-road vehicles took us to the elegant Mara Serena Safari Lodge.

There we saw the first wild animals, namely rock hyraxes, warthogs and baboons.
