We set off on our last leg through Portugal for now. We took the N125 and A22 past Vila Real de Santo António, then crossed the Río Guadiana into Andalusia, Spain.
Our destination was Playa Urbasur near Isla-Cristina. When we arrived at the beach parking lot, it was again not clear how to interpret the color markings for the parking spaces. Actually, the green marking in Spain meant, payable for everyone except residents, but there was no parking meter, or maybe there was one only in high season, as each municipality could decide differently. Ines asked one of the residents who was loading his car, and he said one could park wherever they wanted. So we did what the other Spanish motorhome owners were doing and found a nice spot. Then we went to the beach. The wind was a bit fresher today, so Sebb didn't want to go into the sea during Ines' first swim. After the sun had warmed us for an hour, Sebb warmed up too and joined in the water for the second swim.
After 6:00 PM, we slowly packed our things and made our way back behind the dunes to Gary.
Today we definitely wanted to go out to eat. So we went to the restaurant around the corner, the only one in the vicinity (where even the supermarket closed in autumn), that was still open in the after-season.
