Actually, we were supposed to go to Lorient today, ... actually ... When we arrived at the chosen campsite, we were once again sent away; everything was fully booked. Even the unappealing automated parking lot around the corner was full, and it wasn't nice here either.

So we moved on. Unfortunately, we also had to refrain from all the brilliant puns involving Loriot and the Orient, what a shame.

Half an hour's drive further south, we found a spot right on the beach next to the main road, where we could first go for a nice swim and then hoped to spend the night.

After being self-sufficient for four days, only being able to dump waste water and fill up fresh water at service stations, a proper shower would have been nice. But at this point, it didn't matter; we could swim in the sea and would just continue traveling this way. Laundromats were available at supermarkets, and who needed a shower when they could swim in the sea?

Internet? We could come up with something for that too, as contrary to our hopes, the network coverage in the countryside here was just like at home, sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't.

But for now, let's hit the sea!
