A long weekend was approaching, and the harbor masters had warned us yesterday that it could get very noisy on Saturday night. In Spain, there was an interesting rule that holidays (November 1st, All Saints' Day - the Reformation Day was not known here), which fell on a Sunday, were observed on the following Monday, so this weekend was extended. Therefore, we decided to continue driving on Saturday and not to experience how loud and long the celebrations could last here.

Today we drove only a short distance through the mountains to Fabriquilla Beach and parked directly on the beach.

On our drive, we passed the town of Aquadulce (English: Sweetwater). This prompted us to engage with the region as a film set. In the nearby Tabernas desert, parts of some Western films were shot.
