The third month had begun.

Today we would continue heading west. Pedreña was a small settlement with a ferry connection to Santander. With this trip, we were leaving the Basque Country and entering the region of Cantabria.

This time we were better prepared for the roads through the mountains. We knew where the inclines were on the route, used the additional lanes for slow drivers, turned the heating up fully uphill, and took a break in between. Thus, we arrived at our destination with a slight delay, but reliably.

Sebb needed something from the pharmacy again and took the opportunity to make a test purchase at the small local pharmacy. Since we arrived right after the siesta (2:00 PM - 4:30 PM), the enthusiasm of the two employees was still somewhat subdued, but we got what we needed.

For dinner, we cooked pasta with sauce for a change, as it had been a while. Then we settled down at the small beach of Rostro and enjoyed the sunset with a bottle of wine.

Tomorrow we would head to the big city.
