Finally, some swimming after all

It was slowly time to head home. We left Gdansk early and had planned a few days for the trip back.
Our stop today was supposed to be in Rowy, another seaside resort on the Baltic Sea. We had selected a campsite and were quite surprised to find a sign on the closed gate indicating that winter rest had started since mid-September. Luckily, there were other pitches available, but it also became clear that most campsites in this area actually closed at the end of the season on the last day of August and only reopened in May of the following year.
After some searching, we found the one place that was still open. The charm of the site stemmed from the fact that it was open. Yes, the operator was friendly, but otherwise it was rather 'Eastern' in a not-so-positive sense. The entire facility was quite run-down, and the permanent camping trailers were neglected.
We parked Gary in between them and made our way to the beach.
Finally, finally all conditions aligned: temperature, wind, sun, and we could go swimming in the Baltic Sea. So we spent the afternoon at the beach and finally did swim in the Baltic Sea.
Hungry from splashing around, we packed our things in the late afternoon and went out to eat in the village. Ines treated herself to local pierogi and salad, while Sebb ordered the fried cod with the obligatory French fries.
