A place to stay

For Sebb, the morning began with a headache. As this wouldn't settle down and other symptoms started to appear, it became clear that today was going to be a migraine day. Thus, for Sebb, the day was already predestined by mid-morning; he would stay in the shade until his migraine calmed down.

Fortunately, we had fixed the charger for the phones yesterday. Gary had received this addition to the seating area from the previous owner to provide power to the phones independently from the car's cigarette lighter in the driver's cabin. However, since yesterday, the system refused to supply any power. Sebb then measured everything with the multimeter and discovered that when installed, no strain relief for the cable had been put in place. Due to daily use, the cable had now pulled out of the terminal block, and we replaced it with a much longer piece to be able to use the charging system even when we were sitting under the awning by the door.

While Sebb was incapacitated today by the migraine, Ines extended our stay for another night. Afterward, she had the washing machine explained and showed to her, and washed our things. After an hour, it was time to hang up the laundry; with about 30 degrees and sunshine, it would dry today.

Then it was time for her to go to the pool, as the sea was more than an hour's walk away from here.

By the afternoon, Sebb was slowly becoming more functional but preferred to remain in the shade, while Ines played audiobooks for him. Indeed, she managed to take down the laundry by late afternoon.

As the sun was about to set, we went to the pool together one last time and refreshed ourselves a bit.

In the evening, we were taken care of at the bar; cooking for ourselves was not on the agenda today.
