On the twenty-fifth of March, Sebb picked up the phone to call the truck workshop. He had read somewhere that starting in June, the gas inspection for motor homes would again be mandatory. Without the sticker, one would be committing an administrative offense, not to mention that we naturally wanted to travel in a safely inspected vehicle.
The mechanic said that the inspection would naturally be done together with the main examination, but that was not scheduled until August. Sebb couldn't easily answer his question about whether the last gas inspection had been done with the last main examination. The documents were in the car, which was still in winter storage. A vacation photo where the rear was accidentally included could answer the question.
