Mount Cook National Park

Then we headed to Omamata to the Mount Cook National Park (=highest mountain in New Zealand). The weather there was very good, even too good for our taste. Because 30 degrees and sunshine are nice, but not when you hike for several hours in the blazing sun. So while we enjoyed the beautiful nature in the Mount Cook National Park, we were also glad when we could find shade!
