After 4 adventurous weeks, it was time to leave Laos. Starting from Phongsaly, I traveled 500km to get back to Thailand.

In Chiang Rai, I took a break to recover from the 20 hours drive of the last 2 days. I also visited the impressive temples in the area.

After 3 days, I continued to Chiang Mai to catch a flight to my next destination.
