Originally, it was not planned to visit Myanmar. But after the numerous recommendations of other travelers, as well as the opportunity to meet my former colleague Max here, the decision was quite easy for me.
In contrast to my previous experiences, I received the visa within 2 minutes, as I entered the country via an international airport.
Yangon presented itself as a mix of Southeast Asian and Indian influences combined with colonial architecture and modernity, as well as a friendliness that I have not experienced on my previous journey!
