November 4, 2019 - A reorganized hike
In early November, I wanted to go towards Mt. Takao - but this time not directly, but from Takao Station first by bus and then hike to the 857 m high Mt. Jinba 陣馬山, and then hike along the ridge back to Mt. Takao. Since the hike was supposed to take about 7 hours, I left quite early and arrived punctually at 8:30 am at the bus stop in Takao. Well, there was a note hanging there that the bus does not go to the final stop at the foot of Mt. Jinba. Road closure due to typhoon damage. What else 🙄
From my online research I knew that buses also go to the foot of Mt. Kagenobu, where I had already been on my first visit to Mt. Takao. So once again, I reorganized and got on this bus and climbed (once again) the Mt. Kagenobu - but this time from the other side 😅

The way back was the same as in September, but this time with even more people on the summit of Mt. Takao - it was probably not well timed to arrive there exactly at noon. After a break among all the other people, we descended the mountain and -what else?- went back to the beautiful onsen right at the station 😋
