byebye vancouver island

after 77 days, about 530 bed moves, 26 spotted orcas, wonderful beaches, around 63 active sports hours & a bunch of new acquaintances, I leave my first destination behind and hit the road to the mainland.

It was very cool here and they say I saw more than anyone else. I really enjoyed it and will definitely miss it. But I said I only want to stay in a place as long as it's fun and slowly I saw the work in the B&B and also the time for good weather in Canada coming to an end. So I have to do a few things I still want to do before I will probably head to the West Coast in the end of October to soak up some sun.

Even though I still had my base in Colwood the last few days, I didn't work much and was quite lazy. One of the highlights was definitely my trip to Tofino (that place on the island). And in Port Alberni, I also did a great hike. See photos.
