Exotic animals, wine, and Justin Bieber (in that order)

On Wednesday, we visited a not yet well-known tourist destination (unless you follow social media stars like the Kardashians - no, that was not my idea 😁): The Malibu Wine Safari. On their website, you could choose between different arrangements: with Giraffe Stanley, without Giraffe Stanley, with lunch... We opted for a 'classic' Explorer Tour, which included feeding a few exotic and native animals (zebras, horses, alpacas) and tasting 6 wines. What impressed me the most... No, not the wine, but the landscape - we were only about an hour's drive from Hollywood and already surrounded by vast valleys and tall rocks. Definitely a little taste of my national park expeditions!
In the late afternoon, we browsed through the bargain stores around our hotel, had something to eat (salad, something healthy for once! 😄), and then made our way to Justin Bieber umm I mean to church. But let's go in order:
Every Wednesday evening, a church service takes place near our hotel, which apparently Justin Bieber -teenage screams- often attends (Note, that also cannot have been my idea 😀). We didn't have high hopes of actually seeing him, but we still took a seat in this cinema-like room with hundreds of community members. Sabine scanned the front row and spotted him: unmistakable with the cap, glasses, and tattoos - I looked ahead and realized: Ah yes, that babyface must be Bieber. I'm not a fan and still found it unbelievable how this hyped singer sits calmly in front of us, without any security, no one screaming, no one asking him for selfies. Unimaginable. But apparently, the attendees value the church service with the locally famous celebrity pastors more than such a worldly star. Even after the event, we could still observe Justin comfortably. He couldn't resist and briefly took the stage, swayed his hips, and then disappeared into the backstage area. I should be screaming now: 'Ahhh, we were just a few steps away from Justin Bieber!' Hihi.
But my personal highlight in terms of heart palpitations was still to come: A date with the sexy lawyer Harvey Specter from the series 'Suits'. 9 o'clock. Hotel room. Unfortunately, no candles. But I can still enjoy Harvey like this. 😄 It's so great to watch all these series on the day of their premiere. The 7th season is already airing in the US, which is why I binge-watched the entire 6th season in the week before my departure. Oh, Harvey... I'll stop writing now, otherwise, this diary won't be suitable for young readers anymore 😄
