Day 14: Trip to Montevideo
Hello there! After a swim in the pool and breakfast, I said goodbye to Adrian (we exchanged phone numbers) and off I went. Off to Montevideo.

Hi!
I'm currently sitting in the Montevideo airport. I sneaked into the VIP lounge. There's no way to endure out there. Plus, the drinks are free here ;)

I'm typing up the post for yesterday.
I did another hip hop tour. So, there are a lot of pictures and not so much text again.

Let's go.
Here again is the Plaza de la Independencia. We already know that one.

Here is the Parliament:

And some other stuff:

Hopped off for the first time. Another market hall. Quite fancy.

Hopped back on. Off we go to the largest mall in Montevideo.

Unfortunately, also the most soulless. I'll spare you the pictures.
But at least there’s a casino with a bar. Something, at least.

A gin and tonic is always a good idea. The bartender's name is Franco. He wanted to emigrate to Europe. I talked him out of it. ;)
Okay, let's keep going.
Hopped off at the beach.

Strange building. I asked the security. It used to be a casino but was closed. For whatever reason.
Let’s continue.

The first house at the square, the famous Carrasco Hotel and Casino.

First stop at the casino.

Did I mention it? A gin and tonic is always a good idea:

Then let's check out the hotel.

Okay, I'll let that slide. ;)
You think you've seen it all. But getting a massage while playing poker, that’s something I hadn’t encountered before.

(Here I had to cheat a little since photography at the gaming tables is usually not allowed.)
Okay, off to home.

Here is probably the quite well-known public golf course in the middle of the city.

Another steak and then off to the hotel. I'm exhausted.

And today, I'm heading 'home'.
In two months I'll be back, and for good!
Best wishes!
