Huka Falls and geothermal zones on the way to Rotorua

Yesterday we only drove about 80 kilometers, there was just too much to see.

The Huka Falls near Taupo are impressive, here 200,000 liters of water rush per second. Imagine the sound!

After that we drove on towards Rotorua, there are plenty of geothermal zones due to the volcanic area we are in.

First we were at the Moon Craters and then at the Thermal Wonderland in Wai-o-Tapu. Absolutely worth seeing, but it also smells quite strongly of sulfur.
