Meeting with friends in Schleswig

The farewell from the short visit in Ribe was not easy. Ribe and the surroundings are particularly appealing and you can spend some beautiful days in the city, cycling and at the Wadden Sea.

However, friends were already waiting for us, whom we were very excited to see.

Therefore, on our journey back to the south, we made a stopover in Schleswig to eat well, chat and relax for the onward journey.

Late in the evening, we found a place to sleep at a highway rest stop near Hannover.

PS: We were surprised that diesel (and petrol) prices in Norway are lower than in Denmark and Germany, despite significantly higher wages.

Well, the Norwegians have their own oil, which they sell very profitably outside of Norway and invest the money in their 1.3 trillion social fund.
