High Mountains Cierro de la Muerte and Saverge Valley

Since Friday, we have been in the high mountains. The temperature has dramatically dropped, and the rooms are heated at night. A hot water bottle for the room is also provided for free. In return, we have seen the most amazing birds and animals. The Quetzal, one of the most beautiful birds in Costa Rica, was shown to us by a guide through a spotting scope in its nest. After that, we visited a hummingbird station where we could admire countless of these small, wonderful creatures. Today, Sunday, we will continue to the next volcano and then back to the warmth.
