Our guest cat did his best on the day of departure to keep us at home. Nevertheless, we headed to Eurairport in the afternoon and flew from there to Frankfurt. It went very smoothly; we even arrived at the airport so early that we had to wait until we could check in our luggage. Eventually, we spent two hours at the gate. The short flight was nice; we were well taken care of and provided with drinks and snacks. However, Frankfurt was less appealing. The lounge was good and spacious, but then came the announcement that we had to move to a different gate. After some waiting there, we were taken by bus to the farthest corner of the airport and had to wait in the bus in front of our Jumbo for what felt like an eternity. It turned out that our airplane had a technical problem, so another Jumbo that had just landed was taken instead. However, it had not been cleaned, checked, or refueled. Hence the delay. Even with more than an hour's departure delay, we arrived punctually in Buenos Aires. The flight was quite okay. Plenty of food and drinks, lots of gadgets, and although the seats are a bit old, you get an extra mattress and can sleep very well.
