Crossing from Đà Nẵng to Hong Kong, March 7, 2026

As expected, there isn't much to report on a sea day. The temperature is still pleasant, but it is heavily clouded, drizzling occasionally, and is somewhat windy. At the moment, we have passed the Chinese island of Hainan. To the south of us are the Paracel Islands, which are also claimed by China, but are significantly closer to Vietnam and the Philippines, and therefore also claimed by them.

We continue to enjoy ourselves. We listen to presentations, particularly about Vietnam, do some sports, eat well, write on the blog, etc.

Of course, we also send special greetings to the birthday kids.
