The Park of the Tauriani

A super beautiful morning, already 26°C today. Actually, we all want to hike together to the archaeological site, IL Parco dei Tauriani. Since some have knee problems, others prefer to ride their bikes up the mountain, and still others take the bus, it’s a bit of a mix-up. But in the end, everyone made it at the agreed time.

At the entrance, we were greeted by a very nice and friendly multilingual archaeologist. Gianni, the campsite owner, accompanied us and translated with gestures. What we didn't understand was translated by our Swiss Hans-Peter. The tour was very interesting and highly recommended. The highlight of the day was the view from the watchtower of our campsite.
