By bike and bus to Palmi...

A very warm day and it's time for cycling. Since the route is very steep, the groups split up. The sporty ones ride their bikes, while the others take the bus. The groups meet in the city center. Palmi is a beautiful and, above all, clean city with many alleys, one-way streets, parks, churches, cafes, and ice cream parlors. Vendors offer their goods on the street. The church is dedicated to Francis of Assisi, with three altars that are very simple yet beautiful to behold. At the ice cream parlor, known for the best ice cream in Italy, we refresh ourselves after sightseeing and shopping tours. There are so many treats. The view from the park is stunning, with Sicily always in sight. The bus arrives, and we return to the campsite. A wonderful light, tonight we can see the four islands in the full glory of the sunset.
