Nächster Halt...

Experiment 9Euro Ticket is working quite well so far. All trains have seats and functioning air conditioning. Had a little unplanned stop in Kassel because we were too slow, and then a nice detour to the cosmopolitan city of Kreiensen, where we sprinted from platform 1 to platform 72 in 3 minutes.

Found the luxury accommodation right away and checked into the suite. Had a little setback with opening the trolley... It's open now, but whether it will ever close again, that remains to be seen.

So after a nap, we went to the beer garden in Goslar and drowned our worries. Tasty food and delicious beer right next to an impressive church. Simply fantastic!

Although the journey back to the hostel took three times as long, we made it back safely.

More tomorrow...

By the way, it seems like every second tourist here is Danish. We're trying to figure out this phenomenon. Or does anyone happen to know why this is?
