From LA to Miami by camper: LA, Long Beach, Palm Springs

We have chosen a new adventure :) After seeing most of Argentina, this time it has drawn us to the USA. We flew to LA, picked up our rented camper there, and drove through 10 states to Florida in 5.5 weeks. We spent the first night in a hotel in LA, as required, before picking up the camper the next day. The second night, we stayed in LA in a residential area on the roadside after spending the day in Long Beach. Then we headed to Palm Springs, where we spent a night at a campground...

Initially, we wanted to drive up the West Coast in California, but due to flooding and snow and having to empty the camper's pipes in sub-freezing temperatures, we decided not to do that.
