Day 19

We had to be off the pitch by 12, so we took our time this morning. It backfired on us because we had to pack in the blazing sun. We ended up escaping to the shade with the roof tent open because it was too hot.

The drive towards Birmingham went well despite the train strike.

We found accommodation at a Camping and Caravanning Club site again. Tents are not allowed here, and they prefer no furniture or awnings either. If they did, we would struggle, so we set up the awning first and see if anyone complains.

The awning is quite warped, it suffered quite a bit in the last storm.
