That was already yesterday, but it didn't fit quite well.
It was a travel day from London back southwest to the coast.
On the route, the car showed an arrival around 5 o'clock. With a distance of almost 300 km and a start before 11 o'clock. Since Google only showed a 4-hour drive, I still believed it was a mistake of the car. But in the end, the car was right.
It was very hot, congested and shortly before the destination, another car with a group of drunken teenagers drove in front and swerved or even made an overtaking attempt that ended up standing in the oncoming traffic. We were glad when they turned off.
There was a test charging at Ionity for 69 pence per kWh. It was not necessary, we would have arrived anyway, but it was not quite certain.
The destination campsite was crowded and very loud. Due to the good weather and the facilities of the campsite with evening entertainment, outdoor and indoor pool and beach access, many families and children were here. Many Britons took advantage of the weather to get massive sunburns.
In the evenings, the children were on the playgrounds with maximum volume until half past 10. After that, it slowly got better.
It would have been better for us to arrive a bit earlier because the drive was exhausting.
