Because heavy rain and a thunderstorm were forecast for tonight, we left for the next campsite a day earlier than planned. After initially looking very good on the 300 km route, as headwind and rain set in, the remaining range decreased too quickly. I couldn't fully charge at the campsite overnight and we started with just under 90%. So we tried to charge during lunch. The rest area was packed, but luckily a slow 50 kW fast charger was available. Even better, it was still free to use 😀. Many thanks to Gridserve. After that, I was able to drive a bit faster, which in the end brought the battery back down to 14%. So we arrived in the dry and were able to set up. It's raining and windy here now, we're back in the west after all...
Tomorrow it's supposed to be dry here.
I hope the traffic jams back to the mainland will calm down a bit. At the moment, it looks pretty bad with the trains and ferries, although it's foreseeable that we won't catch the ferry anyway.
