It's starting soon...

The days until departure are passing quickly. On Saturday, March 21st, the ferry will leave from Genoa to Tunis at 6 PM. And we are on board!! The Sahara Tour adventure is beginning and all of us are as excited as can be!!

Such opportunities to experience something unique don't come around often; this trip is definitely one of them.

Seven at a stroke, as it says in The Brave Little Tailor. Yes, we will soon realize how brave we will be in the sand. Michael and I have virtually no Enduro experience!! But loose ground is familiar to us from the Flattrack races, at least. So, what the heck. You can learn everything, learning by doing.

Until we reach Douz, the bikes will be in the trailer or on the pickup. From there, it will continue on two wheels.

I bought the Kati specifically for this tour, a KTM 400 EXC, model year 2001. The condition is actually okay; first, I adjusted the valves, did an oil change, put on a new tire, and installed new rear wheel bearings.
