A beautiful day in northern Senegal comes to an end.

After the first night in familiar surroundings (for some), we had the delicious chocolate cream in a baguette before we were taken to Lac Rose.

Lac Rose is a natural wonder that is unparalleled. Translated, it means the pink lake. And the salt content is so high that you float. In the sun, it shimmers in a rich pink color. As a sacred place for healing injuries, it is often visited by locals.

Great place.

After the return journey, which took twice as long because we stood more than we drove, we decided to take a break tomorrow instead of visiting the monument in Dakar.
