(24.06.) After an extensive city stroll, we set off around 12:00 PM.
After leaving the harbor, we battle against wind and waves for 2 hours until we can turn the bow south, unfortunately not!
The Finns have built a bridge here. The passage has not yet been opened.
This forces us to go around the island of Hailuoto. A detour of 30 nautical miles and another 3 hours against wind and waves until we can finally turn south. However, by now the wind has calmed down and we continue under engine power until we reach the harbor of Marjaniemi around 7:30 PM.
Our actual destination was Raahe, which we will now head for tomorrow.
