(16.06.) Since the wind is still blowing from the north and tacking against the wind takes a lot of time, we are changing our strategy today.
After departing, we will stay close to shore to avoid the strong swell and will motor northward; our daily goal is Skellefteåhamn. At the point of the Grundskatan peninsula, we want to change course and sail the rest of the way.
Unfortunately, the weather is putting a damper on our plans. Just before reaching the turning mark, the wind completely dies down, and we have to motor the rest of the way to Skellefteåhamn in absolute calm and old swell.
