We start early and continue south to Trigg Beach, a long white sandy beach where many surfers are already giving their best in the early morning.
Part of Trigg Beach is surrounded by rocks and a reef, where we went snorkeling and greeted many fish.
Afterwards, we headed to Cohunu Koala Park in Byford. After outsmarting Google Maps, we actually arrived at the park.
The park costs $15 admission and you can admire and mostly pet not only koalas, but also kangaroos, wallabies, and other animals, as they roam around partially freely and partially in walk-in enclosures. Only for cuddling and snuggling with koalas, which one can see, but they have their own separate section in the park, you have to pay an additional $30... thought it was a koala park🤔 too bad...
After the park visit, we finally headed to our next overnight spot in Bunbury, a beautiful coastal city.
