Location: 913 directly by the Maggia River
Day 1: Beautiful weather at 25 degrees. Arrival via Gotthard (traffic dependent) Pizza in Losone, then to the campsite. After setting up, a short bike tour to Ascona for Gelato.
Day 2: Clouds in the morning and evening, otherwise nice
By post bus via Cavergno to Prato. Hike for 4 1/4 hours via Menzonio, Brontallo back to Cavergno and return by bus.
