Santa Barbara: Surprise at the hotel reception

We booked a standard room in a hotel in Santa Barbara for 3 nights online yesterday and were surprised with a free upgrade to the 'Penthouse' upon our arrival.

Now we are staying in a complete apartment with our own terrace, fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, and plenty of space.

A bottle of champagne is in the fridge.

In addition, there is complimentary wine and cheese in the lobby in the afternoons, followed by warm cookies and milk.

A very communicative establishment, as there is always an opportunity to chat with other guests.

Not to mention the coffee and water service available all day and the station with the Christmas-spiced cider. .....

Bicycles are also available for free, we will make use of them tomorrow.
