On our way to Ceduna, we made a stop in Kimba. The travel guide mentioned a souvenir shop, but instead, we discovered a really nice store with furniture, second-hand clothes, soaps, jewelry, etc. The shop is shared by four women who sell their goods in a truly beautiful setting. We spontaneously shopped there and even had a delicious breakfast across from the post office.
Kimba has a population of 600 and actually has a huge cockatoo statue (which can be seen directly on Google Maps)... but we didn't see it 🙈
