Rat on the face

And suddenly I fell out of bed and a rat scurried across my face. I had heard them rustling and padding around the room the whole time. Then I was suddenly awake. The high cortisone so late yesterday wasn't great. Here the trainees would again be asked what the (side) effect of cortisone is and why it is better to give it between 6 and 8 a.m. Most people can now find the answer in their sleep, that's how important it is to me that they know it.

Today is the big day, the dismissal is coming up. The afternoon shift had to check on me more often because of the immunoglobulins and after she asked me what I was doing at the MHH, there was suddenly a second bottle of disinfectant on the table with which she demonstratively disinfected her hands. Maybe a little too often.

I'm now waiting for the Shaldon to be drawn. Then two hours later I can finally leave.
