Good morning, yet another beautiful sunrise and dreamlike temperatures of 19° in the morning. The cyclists set off for Orihuela at 10:00 AM in two groups. The first group is led by Heinz, and the second by Gerd. The girls who stayed behind will first go swimming, then to the boutique. Shopping makes you hungry, so we sip cappuccinos and enjoy cake at Leana cafe teatro. Soon we regain our energy. Micha and Cookie are along for the ride. The groups in Orihuela take a break and meet in the Palm Garden for a photoshoot, and they will soon arrive in Orihuela. First, a visit to the monastery school, then a visit to a church, marching through the old town, and finally stranded in a street bistro. We enjoyed a little snack with beer, coffee, water, and cycling drinks. Recharged, we cycle 27 kilometers back, alongside orange, mandarin, and lemon plantations to the campsite.
