Travel Day and New Arrivals

We travel about 115 km further, to Thuringia to the Hohenfelden reservoir. On the way there, we see many fields of rapeseed, sunflower fields, interesting houses, and much more. Upon arriving at the campsite, we set up our accommodations. Everyone helps in the kitchen, chopping and cutting meat and vegetables for a delicious shashlik pan with rice and coleslaw.

Today, Liane, Matthias, Hans, and Marianne serve food and drinks for the entire RMF family. It is the wedding, the official admission to the RMF-EUROPA-Club. Dark clouds gather in the sky as we set the tables for dinner. Before we can start eating, the heavens open, and it pours heavily. Quickly clear everything away and seek shelter. After the cloudburst, we make a second attempt. The meal goes well, but dark clouds gather again. Quickly clean up and wait. Now we pack, says Ricci, our chairman. Welcome words, singing, and then the question of all questions: DO YOU WANT TO ... Yes, of course, with the flag, pennant, songbook, and of course the stickers, we have been accepted into RMF-Europe. Thank you, the four of us are incredibly happy and thank the fellow members traveling with us. Especially our kitchen team, Gerd and Ute, who have once again outdone themselves. Thank you for the beautiful songs that you and Irmi played and sang with your guitar. Thanks to everyone who contributed to making it such a beautiful admission, despite interruptions from the rain showers. To conclude, a beautiful 🌈 rainbow.
