Highway 1 - Day 1

I grabbed a car from Thrifty at the SF airport. They upgraded me for free to a better car. Actually I have a Honda Senada.

I drove down the Highway 1, starting in Pacifica. My first stop was at Maverick's Beach. Yes that Mavericks Beach. The waves weren't high, it was low tide...

Anther stop I planned at the Pigeon Point Lighthouse.

I realized, that I haven't planned enough time to drive down to LA. I could stop every 200m to see something special. It's amazing what this coast has to offer!

I arrived in Santa Cruz, my stay for the night, right at time to see a beautiful sunset.

Day one ended in the Poet & Patriot Irish Pub in Santa Cruz. I can really recommend that Pub. Good Blues and Jazz Sound and fair prices. Cash only! ;)
